For this project, Zitaglass was responsible for producing customized glass components for two appliance applications: refrigerator door panels and washing machine lids.

1. Tempered Glass Refrigerator Door Panels

The refrigerator door glass is an important visible component of the appliance. It needs to provide a premium appearance while withstanding temperature changes, daily handling, and potential impact during transportation and use.

For the Electrolux refrigerator application, Zitaglass manufactures the panel using 3.2 mm fully tempered glass.

The glass surface features a black silk-screen printed design with a fine-line pattern, creating a sophisticated appearance that complements the overall refrigerator design. The Electrolux logo is also printed on the glass with a crisp and clean finish.

The glass edges are finished using CNC edge processing, which helps achieve accurate dimensions and smooth, consistent edges suitable for assembly into the washing machine structure.
