CLASSES

Get ready to make your own glass jewelry!

During this fabulous 3 session fusing class, you will learn how to cut, and assemble Dichroic glass and create a professional, finished look of your own jewelry design. By the end of the class, you will create up to 5 beautiful jewelry pieces of your choice: pendants, earrings, pins or cuff-links.

Besides having fun exploring a new glass technique, this class is a great opportunity to make your own handmade present for your friends and family!

October, 2007: Congratulations to Hugo for his great work!

Final Work (3 session fusing class)

Fusing Class Student, Hugo

Glass Cuff-links

Hugo made 3 kinds of dichroic glass pendants (silver framed, wire-wrapped, and “frameless”) and a pair of cuff-links during his 3 session fusing class. He has created silver jewelry before, but working with glass was a totally new experience for him. He did a great job on designing, grinding and assembling his pieces. He is planning to give some of his glass work to his niece for Christmas.

November, 2007: Congratulations to Christina for her beautiful jewelry!

Silver Framed Glass Pendant

Glass Pendant & Cuff-link

Wire-Wrapped Glass Pendant

During her 3 session fusing class, Christina made 3 kinds of dichroic glass pendants (silver framed, wire-wrapped, and “frameless”) and a pair of cuff-links. She is a jewelry artist, working mainly with silver and semi-precious stones. It was her desire to explore new jewelry making techniques that led her to my fusing class.  She will use her new glass fusing knowledge to vary her jewelry collection.
